1. BladeSwap Season 3 Gold Distribution Plan
The highly anticipated third Gold distribution plan is here. A total of 173118.53 Gold will be distributed, following the same criteria as the previous distribution.
Why Did LPs and Gold Maxis Feel They Received Less Gold Last Time?
- LP Gold was distributed based on a time-weighted allocation between pre-TGE / post-TGE LPs
- Pre-TGE old USDB-ETH pool lasted 23 days (April 4–27), whereas the new pools collectively lasted 12 days (April 27-May 9). This roughly 2:1 ratio resulted in significant Gold for LPs who staked pre-TGE, while those staking post-TGE, despite higher TVL, felt they received much less.
- Gold Maxis got their share from part of new pool, so share was quite small inevitably.
Improvements in the 3rd Distribution
This time, the distribution will not have such splits:
- LPs will receive their full share.
- Gold Maxis will benefit from the increased TVL and leverage, resulting in a significantly better Gold ratio compared to last time!
BladeSwap Gold Distribution from Season 3
The distribution ratio itself remains the same as Season 2:
- 60% to LPs directly
- 20% to voters, providing substantial Gold benefits to Blade holders, thereby supporting prices and maintaining a positive feedback loop by attracting more LPs due to higher Blade APRs.
- Traders can indirectly earn Gold through Lootbox opportunities.
Season 3 Period: May 9th (00:00 UTC) — May 30th (00:00 UTC)
Gold will be distributed within hours of Season 3’s end, and Season 4 will commence on May 30th at 00:00 UTC.
Details on how Gold is shared among LPs :
Gold distribution to LPs is designed to favor key pairs, which are determined by votes and directly proportional to Blade emissions.
For example, if you farmed 10 $BLADE in the ETH-A pair with $X liquidity and 20 BLADE in the ETH-B pair with $Y worth of liquidity, you would also receive Gold in the same 10:20 ratio. This means the efficiency of your capital depends on the pool you stake in, which you can compare directly by pool APR.
This system ensures that pairs generating more trading fees, and hence more bribes for voters, receive more Gold, promoting a sustainable cycle.
ASO Gold Support : Gold earned by Protocol Owned Liquidity of ASO-ETH will be redirected to $ASO stakers. The address list and amount will be announced by them
2. Important Announcement: Migration from Old Pools
To reduce confusion from multiple pools and complete the migration to new pools, the old pool gauge will be removed from the voting page frontend starting next Monday. Consequently, the APR of old pools will decrease, encouraging a swift migration to new or yield maxi pools. Note that it doesn’t completely stops emission or voting but it won’t get any votes from smart vote anymore, thus dry up slowly.
ETH/USDB, ezETH/ETH old pools are the target of this change.
🥰3. Special Event for Gold Maxis🥰
Gold allocated through dev votes is reinvested to strengthen the flywheel effect for users. Approximately ~4,500 Gold remained undistributed from Season 2. Half of this will be allocated to the upcoming Concentrated Liquidity’s bootstrap, while the remaining 2,400 Gold will be awarded to the top bribers of Season 3!
Total prize pool : 2400 GOLD, Equally shared (80 each) to top 30 Gold maxi point rankers.
How to Participate?
The criteria are based on ‘GOLD MAXI POINT’ visible on ‘My Gold Dashboard’. The top 30 participants will share this prize pool equally post-season. To ensure fair competition, your current ranking and the cutoff point’s score will be displayed on the Gold Dashboard.
This event, combined with already high Gold efficiency, means the top 30 participants will benefit significantly. As a reference, currently, the 30th place is held by someone who has bribed approximately 0.5 ETH.
